How a Gifting Strategy Can Help Sell

Right on the edge of marketing and relationship building is the gifting layer. Needs to be handled on a case by base basis. Some people have the wrong idea about gifting. Doesn’t need to be a branded item. Better off to send something beneficial to the C-Suite member. Personalized to what they may be interested in. Could be a thoughtful book that’s relevant to what they’re experiencing. Example: No Man’s Land for companies in M&A. Sometimes gifts can be too extreme and its detrimental instead of helpful. Example: customized (with their logo) cufflinks.
